These kits are for the "WINCHELSEA 10". The pictures above show two great examples from first time builders. A very similar looking larger version of her 8’ sister, continuing with the clinker style hull, 6 planks per side, multi-purpose Rowing/Motor dinghy that can be used as a tender to a yacht or larger vessel or for a day of fun on the local water. She is 10’ - 0" in length, 4’ - 6" beam and designed to be as light as possible for her size and construction. Although she could be carried on the roof rack of a large car, she is far more suited to a small trailer. She will also take a small lightweight outboard 2hp - 3.5hp for motoring up and down the local river, canal, harbour or around the local lake. Electric outboards are an option with this boat too. Built in buoyancy bags can be added by enclosing the seats or fitting inflatable buoyancy bags. The kits are available as either Premier kits for a rowing/motor hull version.
Full Plywood Epoxy Kit -Contains 3 packs, everything you need to build the hull to a stage where you only need to add paint/ varnish.
Pack 1. Wood & Plywood pack. all the CNC cut plywood parts, planks, bottom plank, transom, trim, gunwales and inwales, ready for assembly.
Pack 2. Epoxy Materials Pack. All the epoxy materials required - resin, hardener, glue fillet additive, dispensing pumps, FG tape, gloves and mixing sticks.
Pack 3. Cable ties, lap clamps androwlocks.
Plywood Only Pack contents - All hull panels CNC cut with stitch holes drilled including moulds (x3), keel and transom.

This dinghy will take up to a 40lb thrust electric outboard with the battery box under the centre thwart. These lightweight dinghies are easily driven and do not require a lot of power to drive them.
Fitting engines to small, lightweight dinghies does require, if solo, sitting further forward. With crew etc. weight will need to distributed.
